The NeOn Toolkit 1.2.3 is available in two versions:

  • the basic configuration which offers basic ontology modeling features (for OWL and F-logic).
  • the extended configuration which contains a set of sophisticated plugins for developing ontologies with rules, for integrating external data sources, for mapping between ontologies, and much more.

Both versions can be augmented by installing more plug-ins after exectuting the toolkit via the built-in update mechanism.

The current version of the NeOn Toolkit is 1.2.3. NeOn Toolkit 1.2.3 is the third bug-fix update for since November 2008. This update is needed because of some changes of the standard Java libraries (starting from Java 1.5.0_19 and Java 1.6.0_14).

The following downloads are available:

  • Extended Configuration:
    • Since the release of the NeOn Toolkit v2.3 the extended configuration v1.2.3 is not available anymore.
