NeOn Toolkit 1.1 Extended file_icons/archive_zip.gif Download

Description:
This extended configuration of the NeOn Toolkit 1.1 for Linux contains some bugfixes compared to the Version 1.0.1. It contains a sophisticated set of plugins for developing ontologies with rules, for integrating external data sources, for mapping between ontologies, and much more.

The current release of the NeOn Toolkit v.1.1 has no built-in feature to model OWL ontologies. This feature is work in progress. If you want to try it out you can test it nevertheless. In order to do so we set up an easy way to install this feature from within the NeOn Toolkit via the software update feature. Just go to Help > Software Update > Find and Install > Search for new Features to Install. Here you will find the NeOn Toolkit update site which contains the recent version of the OWL modeling support.

The Linux distribution is provided for demonstration purposes only. We cannot guarantee full functionality and do not offer intensive user support for this version. Nevertheless, you are welcome to try the NeOn Toolkit under Linux.

This download comes as a simple ZIP-file that can be extracted to a folder on your file-system.

This version of the Toolkit contains a licensing mechanism which will disable the toolkit after the end of October 2008. We are discussing a more convenient licensing policy. This discussion should be finalized before this license expires.
